We are happy to announce that from June 2009 onwards LEDNA is going to be supported by our newly recruited online facilitator Serge and our LED expert Sonja!
Zelezeck Nguimatsa Serge is a social scientist/lawyer holding a Masters degree in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa from the Centre for Human Rights of the University of Pretoria (2008). Prior to attending the Masters programme, he worked for three years as Researcher in two leading law firms in Cameroon, dealing among others with international developmental NGOs and embassies clients of the Firm. He is a strong pan-Africanist activist and has led several pan-African associations and published several pamphets on the issue, as well as on issues of social justice, access to medecine and African development. He was from 2004 to 2006, a resource person and regular guest of a weekly radio programme on Cameroon national broadcasting corporation called "African Renaissance." The theme of self-reliant economic production in Africa perculates throughout all his research works. He is fluent in English, French and Portuguese and has lived and/or carried research in 8 African countries.
Sonja Ende is going to support LEDNA with international LED expertise. Sonja has worked as an LED consultant since many years in various African countries on short and long-term assignments and has an academic background in business administration and development studies. Her specific expert knowledge includes the creation of an enabling business environment which is conducive to economic growth, participatory methods and facilitation of processes for LED, the reduction of Red Tape, effective public-private dialogue processes and the impact of gender on LED.
