United Cities and Local Governments conference
Twelve years after the Istanbul summit (Habitat II), 4 years after the creation of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), local and regional governments met in Istanbul from November 27th to 30th, at the invitation of Kadir Topbas, Mayor of Istanbul (Vice-President of UCLG) and chaired by Bertrand Delanoë, Mayor of Paris (President of UCLG) and Vice-Presidents of UCLG: Mr. Zhang Guangning, Mayor of Guangzhou and Mr. Kadir Topbas, Mayor of Istanbul.
