Newsfeeds, also called web feeds or RSS feeds, allow content updates from a particular site to appear in your 'newsreader' (software that allows you to pick up and organise RSS content) or even on your own website or blog. You subscribe to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process.
