Welcome to LEDNA

This is a unique Local Economic Development global knowledge hub and social network. We provide free access and membership to the World's largest free codified resource bank & social network for local economic development practitioners. Our network facilitates new & established local economic development practitioners to connect with each other through informal contact and through developing communities of practice, especially in Africa.

October 2008 saw the ‘soft’ launch of this network. Over the coming years we will work with you to support the development of the knowledge resources and virtual and face-to-face communities of practice. We are in beta mode, so there will be continuously improvements. Please help us by letting us know what you need. We are hoping that as our community grows, members will add more knowledge and experiences, in the form of links, documents or blogs.

To develop the network we will rely on leaders within our network, we will do all we can to facilitate this. If you would like to start a LEDNA community of practice, just contact us and we will start working with you, we are very flexible about how these could be formed and operated.
