The community fosters a flexible way of collectively generating, accessing, sharing and applying demand-based knowledge for Local economic development. The growing interaction within the community thus far enables us to list the following benefits of membership:
Staying informed of new developments in the LED field;
Accessing a constantly updated pool of resources relating to LED in Africa;
Networking with peers and relevant stakeholders from across Africa and beyond;
Soliciting informed opinions, views and examples from an expert community to enhance one’s own work;
Marketing one’s expertise to a fast expanding specialised community and to relevant decision-makers;
Accessing a space for dissemination & targeted promotion of the results of one's projects and initiatives;
Accessing a pool of regularly updated LED jobs, tenders, competitions and events relevant to Africa;

Access rights and privileges of members
There are two categories of users on the LEDNA platform: registered members and general users (this is anybody accessing the LEDNA website). Different access rights and privileges are afforded to both categories. The table below highlights access rights and privileges per categories.
